Upon arrival at the villa, you must leave a deposit in cash with the owner or manager at check-in. The amount of the deposit varies and will be communicated to you during the booking process. It serves as security for any damages.
We maintain a good relationship with the villa owners, all are cooperative and friendly. A deposit is not a "penalty," but is intended to encourage responsible handling of the inventory. The villas and their furnishings are very expensive, the deposit is very low in comparison. Of course, something can always break, like dishes or a vase. In such cases, no owner will withhold the deposit. If you behave properly, you will receive the full deposit back.
